Gli input e gli stimoli visivi che più mi hanno incuriosito, da i quali ho voluto estrapolarne alcuni dettagli e costruirci intorno la mia collezione, sono state le quattro Basiliche papali romane e gli artisti che hanno operato al loro interno, così come alcune opere visionate durante la mia visita alla Quadriennale di Roma, in particolare durante la mostra “FUORI”. Le opere al neon di alcuni artisti esposti nel palazzo mi hanno subito fatto pensare alla Light Art; a come questa branca dell’arte contemporanea potesse amalgamarsi così bene all’arte antica.
Ho creato e sviluppato una collezione di Jersey che potesse trasformarsi dal giorno alla notte: di giorno in un modo e di notte al buio in un altro modo compiendo un’evoluzione. Per poter riprodurre questo effetto e questa trasformazione ho utilizzato materiali fosforescenti e giocato con diverse profondità e rilievi jacquard. Le grafiche e la struttura stessa dei Jersey rimandano infatti ad alcuni dettagli selezionati, ad esempio delle sculture di Bernini (es. Santa Teresa), i soffitti di San Paolo Fuori le Mura, i pavimenti di San Pietro, i colonnati, le cupole, chiostri, mosaici etc.
La cartella colore che ho selezionato ha al suo interno colori neutri chiari e pastello in alternanza, oltre alla già citata fosforescenza, a colori elettrici e sgargianti.

The visual inputs that most intrigued me, from which I wanted to extrapolate some details and create my collection, have been the four Roman papal basilicas and the artists who worked within them inside, as well as some works viewed during my visit to the Quadrennial of Rome, in particular during the exhibition “FUORI”. The neon works of some artists exhibited in the building immediately made me think of Light Art; how this branch of contemporary art could blend so well with ancient art.
I created and developed a Jersey collection that could be transformed from day to night: day in one way and at night in the dark in another way, making an evolution. In order to reproduce this effect and this transformation, I used phosphorescent materials and played with different depths and jacquard reliefs. The graphics and the structure of the Jersey itself refer to some selected details, for example the sculptures of Bernini (eg Santa Teresa), the ceilings of San Paolo Fuori le Mura, the floors of San Pietro, the colonnades, the domes, cloisters , mosaics etc
The color chart that I have selected has alternating light and pastel neutral colors inside, in addition to phosphorescence, with electric and bright colors.
