Nelle parole più semplici si riferisce a un cambiamento di una forma o natura di una cosa o persona in una completamente diversa.
Sono stato affascinato dalla facilità e dalla trasformazione flessibile degli esseri umani nel loro sé migliore, principalmente attraverso la “danza”. La danza non solo ti aiuta a esporre o ad aprire i tuoi sentimenti su vari sentimenti che sono in te, ma ti aiuta anche a trasformarti mentalmente e fisicamente in qualcosa di così unico in un’identità che è molto più grande di te. Rompe le tue emozioni e ti aiuta a trovare libertà e pace tutti insieme. Allevia il dolore e, per quanto mi riguarda, è un modo per esprimere i miei sentimenti senza parole.
Quindi, sono ispirato dai modelli creati attraverso queste trasformazioni per creare una silhouette unica.
Una delle maggiori ispirazioni è la leggendaria ballerina e coreografa tedesca Philippine “Pina” Bausch e una delle sue migliori performance di danza coreografate chiamata “Nelken”. Nella performance, esprime vari sentimenti e cose legate alla sua vita e alla società in modo molto delicato ma forte. Mostra in modo molto poetico tutte le forme di realtà della società come ingenuità, disuguaglianza di genere, oppressione, realtà, sanguinamento nelle vite delle persone l’una nell’altra e anche le continue lotte quotidiane della vita. Le piccole sfumature o dettagli sono così minuti ma sono anche molto difficili da perdere ed estremamente ben espressi.
Inoltre, sono incessantemente affascinato o stupito dalla “dualità” nella propria natura, credo che ci siano molte personalità diverse in una persona e cambiamenti a seconda delle situazioni o dei bisogni. Questo “Dualismo” costituisce un’altra importante ispirazione nel progetto e ho cercato di esprimere lo stesso con le opere di arte grafica dell’artista spagnolo “Pablo Thecuardo”. È un artista così intelligente che lavora principalmente con opere grafiche distorte nei suoi progetti che tipicamente i collage vanno oltre la semplice combinazione di belle immagini; includono il concetto di dualità nell’essere umano. Sono collage essenziali ma potenti, in cui l’artista mescola diverse tecniche: dal taglio a mano alle tecniche digitali. Il suo lavoro è un’esplorazione profonda, elegante e astratta che riporta alla realtà, all’essenza umana. Ho cercato di dimostrare questa ispirazione sovrapponendo tessuti di diverse tonalità l’uno sull’altro.
Insieme a quanto sopra, ho aggiunto le opere dell’artista olandese della carta “Peter Gentenaar” per ottenere forme e forme per la silhouette e la manipolazione del tessuto attraverso le tubazioni. “Peter Gentenaar” è un artista della carta olandese, che generalmente trae ispirazione da un bocciolo di una pianta che, in primavera, si dispiega in una foglia. Una forma piegata compatta si nutre di acqua e si trasforma in una forma grande e spaziosa. In autunno questa foglia cade dall’albero, l’acqua evapora e una piccola rete di fibre che si arriccia intorno alla spina dorsale è la nuova forma, e quindi costruisce e ottiene queste forme da zero è la sua fabbrica di carta.
La tavolozza dei colori comprende tutte le sfumature neutre e nude, raffiguranti le varie sfumature dei toni della pelle umana, anche in un modo che rappresenta nuovamente la dualità. I tessuti utilizzati sono tessuti trasparenti morbidi come organza, chiffon, crepe e puro laine.

In the simplest words relates to a change of a form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one.

I have been fascinated by the ease and the flexible transformation of humans in their own best self, mainly through ‘dance’. Dance not only helps you to lay out or open up your feelings about various sentiments that are in you but also helps you to transform mentally and physically into something so unique into an identity that is far bigger than you. It breaks through your emotions and helps you find freedom and peace all together. It eases out pain, and as for me it is a way of self-expressing my feelings without any words.

Thence, I am inspired by the patterns created through these transformations to create a unique silhouette.

One of the further inspiration is the legend German dancer and choreographer Philippine ‘Pina’ Bausch and one of her best choreographed dance performances called, ‘the Nelken’. In the performance, she expresses various sentiments and things related to her life, and the society in a very delicate but strong manner. She very poetically shows all forms of reality of the society like naivetes, gender inequality, oppression, realness, bleeding in lives of people into one another and the ongoing daily struggles of life as well. The littles nuances or details are so minute but also are very hard to miss and extremely beautifully expressed.

Moreover, I am incessantly captivated or amazed by the ‘duality’ in one’s nature, I believe that there are many different personalities in a person and changes as per situations or needs. This, ‘Dualism’ forms as another important inspiration in the project and I have tried to express the same with the graphic art works of Spanish Artist ‘Pablo Thecuardo’. He is such a smart artist who mostly works with distorted graphic artworks in his projects that typically collages go beyond the simply combination of beautiful images; they include the concept of duality in the human being. They are essential but powerful collages, in which the artist mixes different techniques: from the cut by hand to digital techniques. His work is a deep, elegant and abstract exploration that brings back to reality, to the human essence. I have tried to demonstrate this inspiration with layering of fabrics in different shades on top of one another.
Along with the above, I have added artworks of Dutch paper craft artist ‘Peter Gentenaar’ to procure shapes and forms for the silhouette as well as fabric manipulation through piping. ‘Peter Gentenaar’ is a paper artist from Netherlands, who generally derives inspiration from a plant bud, which, in spring, unfolds into a leaf. A compact folded form feeds itself with water and turns into a great spacious form. In autumn, this leaf falls off of the tree, the water evaporates and a small web of fibres curling around the spine is the new form, and therefore builds and obtains these shapes from scratch is his own paper factory.
The colour palette includes all neutral and nudes’ shades, depicting the various shades of human skin tones, also in a way depicting duality again. Fabrics used are soft sheer fabrics like organza, chiffon, crepe and pure laine.
