My Salvatore Ferragamo project is based on the my idea of the Ferragamo man, interested in modern architecture and design furniture. From that starting point I decided to do a print development based on the shapes of objects and spaces that I linked to this consumer, also playing with a trompe l’oeil effect that mixes the print placement with the placement of pockets. From that I decided to do the personalisation aspect based on the combination of these different prints, using a removable zip as the mean to attach and swap modules, allowing the consumer to choose which kind of print and surface effect (such as embossed, printed and plain for example ) they want on their product.
Il mio progetto Salvatore Ferragamo si basa sulla mia idea dell’uomo Ferragamo, interessato all’architettura moderna e ai mobili di design. Da quel punto di partenza ho deciso di fare uno sviluppo di stampa basato sulle forme degli oggetti e degli spazi che legavo a questo consumatore, giocando anche con un effetto trompe l’oeil che mescola il posizionamento della stampa con il posizionamento delle tasche. Da lì ho deciso di fare l’aspetto della personalizzazione in base alla combinazione di queste diverse stampe, utilizzando una cerniera rimovibile come mezzo per attaccare e scambiare i moduli, consentendo al consumatore di scegliere quale tipo di stampa ed effetto superficiale (come goffrato, stampato e semplice per esempio) vogliono sul loro prodotto.
