Il Canto di Natale di C. Dickens è stato d’ispirazione per la storia personale che ho voluto narrare attraverso il mio abito da sposa, punto di partenza datoci da Antonio Marras per iniziare il progetto.
Si racconta di PASSATO: la scomparsa della mamma e il Natale non più festeggiato, PRESENTE: un nuovo Natale diverso ma non meno caloroso e FUTURO.
Natali in continuo cambiamento in cui l’unica costante rimane l’albero di natale in cui si traforma il mio abito da sposa. Ogni elemento utilizzato per la realizzazione è riciclato.
A Christmas Carol by C. Dickens was the inspiration for the personal story I wanted to tell through my wedding dress, the starting point provided by Antonio Marras for the project.
It tells of the PAST: the loss of my mother and Christmas no longer celebrated, the PRESENT: a new Christmas, different but not less warm, and the FUTURE.
Christmases in constant change, where the only constant remains the Christmas tree, in which my wedding dress transforms. Every element used in the creation is recycled.
