Il progetto parte dal concetto dell’abbandono e s1 collega alla poesia di Davide Avolio, “La fermezza del Sambuco”, giovane poeta di 23 anni.
Il sambuco è simbolo di trasformazione: rappresenta
la scomparsa, il dolore ma allo stesso tempo anche la rinascita, il rinnovo e la rigenerazione.
Per quanto riguarda i punti maglia, la ricerca s1 sviluppa grazie alle fotografie del britannico James Kerwin, che sofferma il suo lavoro su paesaggi e strutture abbandonate. Luoghi silenziosi in cui la natura riprende il sopravvento. Al concetto dell’abbandono, si contrappone, nella ricerca, l’idea di perfezione e pulizia per rappresentare la nascita.
Theproject starts from the concept of abandonmen and is connected to the poem by Davide Avolio, “The firmness of Elderberry”, a young 23-year-old poet.
The elderberry is a symbol of transformation: it represents disappearance, pain but at the same time also rebirth, renewal and regeneration.
For the knitting stitches, the research develops thanks to the photographs of the British James Kerwin, who focuses his work on landscapes and abandoned structures.
Silent places where nature takes aver aga1n. The concept of abandonment is contrasted, in the research, with the idea of perfection and cleanliness to represent birth.
