La ricerca parte da Felice Casorati e si sofferma sul lavoro dei suoi anni ’20, periodo in cui polemizza contro il futurismo legato alla velocità, trovando ispirazione nel silenzio, nelle forme statiche e nell’interiorità dell’individuo.

A Casorati si affianca, nella ricerca, il film “I Am Love” diretto da Luca Guadagnino del 2009. Ambientato negli anni 2000, la storia è incentrata sulle vicende di una ricca famiglia borghese lombarda e su una storia d’amore proibita.
Interessante per la ricerca è stato lo studio delle scollature sia nei quadri di Casorati che nei look di Tilda Swinton, protagonista del film e lo studio del trompe l’oeil.
The research starts from the italian painter Felice Casorati and focuses on the work of his 1920s, a period in which he argued against the Futurism linked to speed, finding inspiration in silence, in static forms and in the interiority of the individuai.
In the research is also present the film “I Am Love” directed by Luca Guadagnino in 2009. The film is set in the 2000s. The story focuses on the events of a rich lombard family and on a forbidden love story.
lnteresting for the research was the study of necklines both in Casorati’s painting and in Tilda Swinton’s looks and the study of trompe l’oeil.
