1800-1815
Durante il corso gli studenti hanno preso in esame il 1815, ovvero il Periodo Impero.
Partendo da modelli autentici ed utilizzando materiali poveri hanno cercato di riprodurre nella maniera più fedele possibile l’epoca.
Oltre alla foggia, gli studenti hanno giocato con l’elaborazione dei tessuti, ricreando pattern e motivi tipici.
Hanno lavorato sia sulla silhouette maschile che femminile, analizzando oltre che gli indumenti, anche gli accessori.
Durante il corso hanno lavorato su modelli autentici e li hanno poi modificati in base alla loro fantasia.
Hanno infine sperimentato con varie tecniche sartoriali come i punti smoke, plissete fino ad arrivare alle tinture, al ricamo e alla pittura sul tessuto.
During the course our students had the opportunity to examine 1815, the Empire period.
Starting from the authentic models using poor materials, they tried to reproduce the era faithfully.
Beyond the shape, they played with the elaboration of fabrics, recreating typical patterns and motifs.
They worked on both the male and female silhouettes by analyzing the accessories as well as the garments.
During the course our students worked on authentic models and modified them according to their imagination.
They experimented with various sartorial techniques such as smoke stitches, pleats, up to dyeing, embroidery and painting on the fabric.
