DESTRUTTURA
Interpretare il viaggio come qualcosa di più dello spostamento fisico.
Le borse di questa collezione ne diventano manifesto, simboli di viaggi mentali, di idee e di scambio di cultura. Oggetti che, come francobolli, cartoline e lettere, diventano punti di partenza, ma anche d’arrivo.
E così la ricerca è partita dal significato che connota le borse da viaggio, dai loro i volumi, dai materiali che le compongono e della praticità di utilizzo.
Destrutturate e riassemblate, le borse diventano semplici e minimaliste.
E come nelle opere di Maria Lai le parole divenute fili si aggrovigliano su se stesse secondo un principio di creatività libero, in questa collezione le borse vengono pensate non più come oggetti da portarsi con se, ma come prodotti che mettono le persone in relazione tra di esse.

Interpreting travel as more than physical displacement.
The bags in this collection become manifestos of this, symbols of mental journeys, ideas and cultural exchange. Objects that, like fran¬bolts, postcards and letters, become points of departure, but also of arrival.
And so the research started from the meaning that connotes travel bags, their volumes, the materials that compose them and the praticity of use.
Destructured and reassembled, the bags become simple and minimalist.
And just as in Maria Lai’s works the words divenute threads tangle on themselves according¬to a principle of free creativity, in this collection the bags are thought of no longer as objects to be carried around, but as products that put people in relation to each other
