TWO 00 ONE riflette una data emblematica per le due designer e segna l’inizio di un viaggio creativo, le cui tappe sono intese come snodi essenziali del percorso della vita. L’Orient Express, emblema del lusso e di un fascino intramontabile, diviene il punto di partenza per l’ideazione della collezione. L’arredamento delle carrozze si riflette nelle linee rigide e spigolose della pelletteria, contraddistinta da elementi metallici che evocano i dettagli della valigeria vintage. Nelle calzature, le tomaie dalla punta squadrata e le strutture geometriche dei tacchi, rivelano i dettagli del design del treno. L’ecletticità della modelleria ed i contrasti materici tra pelli esotiche e pelli di vitello lisce, conducono alla scoperta di nuovi itinerari esclusivi.
TWO 00 ONE comes from the transcription in words of 2001, the year of birth of the two designers. From the graphic of the logo also appears “two in one”, enhancing the concept of the bond between two people who, in collaboration, give life to a project.
It is the choice of an emblematic date that marks the beginning of a creative journey and follows an itinerary in stages, considered as essentials functions in the path of life. In this regard, the connection with the train was born, it is the best means of transport for trips to stops.
The starting point for the creation of the collection is the Orient Express, a long- distance passenger train, emblem of luxury and timeless charm.
In leather goods, the elements that characterize the train’s furnitures are translated into rigid and angular lines, which constitute the modeling and volumes of the mini bags. They are suitable to be transported on every itinerary to discover enchanting destinations. The metal closures evoke the details of vintage luggage and the mix of different galvanics contributes to accentuate the maximalist style. Essential care and attention to every detail, expressed in the richness of decorative elements such as brooches and chains of various materials and sizes, symbols of the explored places.
In shoes, the study of the interior and exterior design of the train carriages, led the development of the heel structure. the models feature squared – toe uppers made up of a mix of different shapes and heights.
The collection reflects the intimate meaning of the travel that led to the meeting and creation of personal stylistic codes. Evocative elements such as the eclectic design and the material contrasts between exotic leathers and smooth calf leather, with the combination of neutral shades and bright colors, to discover exclusive sensations and a glamour without limits.
