ENTROPIA
L’esperienza umana che incontra questo progetto artistico è raccontata dalla teoria entropica [ENTROPIA – dal ted. Entropie, comp. del gr. ἐν (en) «dentro» e – τροπή (-tropé) «-trasformazione»], in termodinamica la funzione di stato di un sistema, scaturita per mezzo del calore, e interpretata come misura del disordine dello stesso, che nell’ambito del processo creativo, assume forma concreta in un insieme di 4 STANZE (fisiche e non) fra loro comunicanti.
IMPULSO: origine del corpo termico
Il concetto fisico dell’entropia che permea la realtà terrestre e l’universo, è applicato qui al percorso di un wormhole* (_ka_), ovvero una concentrazione di energia raccolta in una sfera, rappresentata quindi graficamente dal cerchio, forma archetipica legata alla dimensione spirituale e punto di partenza per le costruzioni dei capi. Queste si legano ad aspetti percettivi e sensoriali espressi in materie e manipolazioni in rapporto con il corpo.
REALTÁ: differenze e incompatibilità tra forma rettangolare e forma sferica
Nell’illusoria orbita attraverso la realtà _ka_ plasma la materia “impura” e viene al tempo stesso splasmat*, costrett* nell’incessante confronto tra la propria natura e l’artificio imposto dal reale, espresso nel design pulito, rigoroso e geometrico, conforme alle regole canoniche e alle etichette dell’abbigliamento create dall’uomo nel secolo corrente. L’idea di una costrizione fisica e psicologica della struttura sociale, odierna e non, è accompagnata dallo studio dei corsetti metallici del ‘500, di cui si rievoca la struttura e l’opprimente pressione sul corpo.
BUIO: origine del corpo ipotermico
La battaglia che coinvolge il wormhole* prosegue nella successione di stati irreversibili del sistema entropico: APATIA, VUOTO, RABBIA. La nuova e sempre illusoria orbita detta un percorso ormai assecondato da_ka_. Il corpo si lascia andare come inglobato da banchi di nebbia, le silhouette perdono la caratterizzazione umana e la percezione distorta della materia ne determina la sua scomparsa: i volumi aumentano e si rivolgono sempre più su se stessi. Colori assenti, percezioni tattili e visive che suggeriscono un io smaterializzato, frammentato e nudo, sembra che non ci sia fine, il tempo si ferma e a tratti esplode in una furia che è distruzione; il corpo riemerge, torna in evidenza, aggressivo, sfacciato, incatenato, ma teso alla libertà.
IRREALTÁ: origine del corpo duale
Nella dimensione oltre le dimensioni il wormhole* torna a cercare l’equilibrio fra le forme archetipiche in sé stess*; vi si genera una figura duale, umana, ma marina, reale, irreale, infinita e malinconica, recuperata e data alla vita: extraterrestre. Scopre e sottolinea il corpo, gode dell’equilibrio ideale e visivo degli indumenti imposti, nuovamente studiati in relazione alla materia.
The human experience that meets this artistic project is told by entropic theory [ENTROPY – from German. Entropy, comp. of Gr. ἐν (en) “inside” and – τροπή (-tropé) “-transformation”], in thermodynamics the state function of a system, triggered by heat, and interpreted as a measure of its disorder, which in the context of the creative process, takes concrete form in a set of 4 ROOMS (physical and non-physical) communicating with each other.
IMPULSE: the origin of the thermal body
The physical concept of entropy, which permeates the earth’s reality and the universe, is applied here to the path of a wormhole* (_ka_), i.e. a concentration of energy collected in a sphere and therefore graphically represented by the circle, an archetypal shape connected to the spiritual dimension. That’s the starting point for the constructions of the garments, extolled by perceptive and sensorial aspects expressed in materials and manipulations in relation to the body.
REALITY: differences and incompatibilities between rectangular and spherical shape
In the illusory orbit through reality _ka_ moulds “impure” matter and are moulded at the same time, compelled in the incessant comparison between its own nature and the artifice imposed by reality, expressed by a rigorous and geometric design that originates from the rectangular shape. The idea of a physical and psychological constriction of the social structure, present and otherwise, is supported by the study of the metal corsets of the 16th century, whose oppressive wearability is reflected on the garments.
DARKNESS: the origin of the hypothermic body
The battle involving the wormhole* continues in the succession of irreversible states of the entropic system: APATHY, EMPTINESS, ANGRY. The new and ever-illusory orbit dictates a path now paced by _ka_. The body lets itself go to imaginary banks of fog, the silhouettes lose their human characterisation and the distorted perception of matter determines their disappearance: volumes increase and turn more and more in on themselves. Absent colours, tactile and visual perceptions that suggest a dematerialised, fragmented and naked self. There seems to be no end in sight, time stands still and at times explodes in a fury that is destruction; the body re-emerges, back in evidence, aggressive, brazen, chained, but striving for freedom.
IRREALTÁ: the origin of the dual body
In the dimension beyond the dimensions, the wormhole* returns to seek the balance between the archetypal forms within itself*; a dual figure is generated there, human, but marine, real, unreal, infinite and melancholic, recovered and given life: extraterrestrial being. She discovers and emphasises the body, enjoys the ideal and visual balance of the imposed garments.
