A luci spente
La (Ri)-scoperta e il viaggio verso la conoscenza di un senso: l’olfatto, che può fornirci uno sguardo differente e nuovo sul mondo, ispira il progetto “A Luci Spente”.
Proprio l’olfatto e in particolar modo il profumo percepito ci permettono di immergerci nel passato, nei meandri della nostra memoria: in un attimo ci ritroviamo a rivivere momenti che pensavamo aver dimenticato quando invece erano annidati in una parte della nostra anima.
“A Luci Spente” parla della mia memoria e del profumo che l’ha contraddistinta: l’incenso nota sacra che riporta con sé i ricordi dei rituali che si svolgono durante la settimana santa in Puglia.
Ogni ricordo tuttavia, si presenta “imprigionato”, intrappolato in un’armatura e solo il profumo può abbattere tali barriere e arrivare alla loro essenza, poiché “Nulla sveglia un ricordo quanto un odore”.
The (Re)-discovery and the journey towards the knowledge of a sense: the sense of smell, which can provide us with a different and new look at the world, inspires the “A Luci Spente” project.
Just the sense of smell and in particular the perceived perfume allow us to immerse ourselves in the past, in the maze of our memory: in an instant we find ourselves reliving moments that we thought we had forgotten when instead they were nestled in a part of our soul.
“A Luci Spente” talks about my memory and the scent that has distinguished it: the sacred note incense that brings back memories of the rituals that take place during the holy week in Puglia.
However, each memory is “imprisoned”, trapped in an armor and only perfume can break down these barriers and reach their essence, since “Nothing awakens a memory like a smell”.
