Windfall
Il percorso che ha portatao alla realizzazione della Personal Collection è iniziato dalla volontà di voler tradurre in abiti e punti maglia il meraviglioso lavoro fotografico di HODA AFSHAR, fotografa iraniana che nel 2022 ha esposto le sue opere presso la mostra di FOTOGRAFIA EUROPEA a Reggio Emilia.
La sua filosofia nel raccontare le mille sfaccettature del fenomeno climatico del VENTO, mi ha portato a scoprire e conoscere mondi inesplorati e così proprio come il vento accompagna mille STORIE e accadimenti, ho voluto farmi trasportare anche io da esso nella realizzazione della mia Personal Collection.
Oltre alle sue opere dalle quali si è tratto ispirazione per colori e texture, si è voluto affiancere il lavoro del fotografo Juan Sebastion, che nella seire di fotografie, “Roar of the Wind”, ha indigato l’esistenza dell’uomo attraverso il corpo velato.
Da qui si è tratto ispirazione per la LEGGEREZZA e DELICATEZZA dei filati utilizzati in collezione che abbracciano e accarezzano il corpo femminile rendendolo sensuale e statuario.
In conclusione si è anche preso in esame il Vento come fenomeno climatico e per questo si è lavorato con punti trattenuti e grafiche per ricreare il gioco di colori e avvallamenti che esso crea muovendosi sulla terra ferma e nel cielo.
Tutto ciò crea una ARMONIA di collezione che segue una TRAMA fatta di colori tenui ma graffianti e contrasti impalpabili si filati SOTTILI lucidi e crespi, ma sempre leggeri come il soffio del vento sulla pelle.
The path that led to the creation of the Personal Collection began with the desire to want to translate the wonderful photographic work of HODA AFSHAR, an Iranian photographer who in 2022 exhibited her works at the EUROPEAN PHOTOGRAPHY exhibition in Reggio Emilia.
Her philosophy in narrating the thousand facets of the climatic phenomenon of WIND led me to discover and learn about unexplored worlds, and so just as the wind accompanies a thousand STORIES and happenings, I also wanted to be carried away by it in the realization of my Personal Collection.
In addition to his works from which inspiration was drawn for colors and textures, the work of photographer Juan Sebastion, who in the seire of photographs, “Roar of the Wind,” indigested the existence of man through the veiled body, was to be placed side by side.
From here, inspiration was drawn for the LIGHTNESS and DELICACY of the yarns used in the collection that embrace and caress the female body, making it sensual and statuesque.
In conclusion, Wind as a climatic phenomenon was also examined, and for this we worked with restrained stitches and graphics to recreate the play of colors and depressions it creates as it moves across the land and sky.
All of this creates a HARMONY of collection that follows a TRAMA made of soft but scratchy colors and impalpable contrasts you THIN shiny and frizzy yarns, but always as light as the breath of the wind on the skin.
