Industry Project: Ferragamo
Orient express è un progetto nato dalla narrazione di una giovane costumista cool e lussuosa. Il mio “personaggio” è una persona che ama vestirsi bene, godersi la vita e viaggiare in molte città, sempre alla ricerca dell’eccitazione nella vita. Ho quindi creato una collezione di 5 borse, un borsone, una tote bag, uno zaino, una piccola crossbody e un beauty case.
Volevo trasmettere nelle borse le luci veloci della notte che si possono vedere sul treno, quindi ho scelto materiali con lamine che possono essere lucide quando la luce si riflette su di esse, rendendo ogni borsa molto speciale e con una sensazione di lusso. Il tipo di costruzione di ogni borsa è stato molto semplice, classico e glamour, qualcosa che rappresenta il marchio Ferragamo.
Orient express is a project created by the narrative of a young cool and luxurious costumer. My “persona” is someone who likes to dress up, enjoy life and travel to many cities, always looking for the excitement in life. So I created a collection of 5 bags, a duffle bag, a tote bag, a backpack, small crossbody and a beauty case.
I wanted to transmit in the bags the fast lights of night that you can see on the train, so I choose materials with pattern foils that can be shiny when the light reflects on them, making every bag very special and with a luxurious feeling. The type of construction for every bag was very simple,classic and glamorous, something that represent the brad Ferrragamo.
