The involvement of professionals and representatives of the sector is a fundamental element in completing the education of our student community: a course of study that is not limited to theoretical studies and studio activities but also requires immediate feedback from the professional world, also thanks to visibility projects such as “Talents”.

Once again, Pitti Immagine underlines its desire to continue to help and support young designers through the PITTI Tutoring & Consulting Reward, delivered by its director Luca Rizzi.

ACM continues in its mission of training professionals capable of covering various key roles throughout the entire value chain of the fashion industry, favoring the encounter between costume and fashion, research and design, communication, and product.

The Master School with the 8 different 1st level Masters (60 credits – 1 year) has precisely this intention with unique training projects that arise between design and product, in collaboration with recognized Italian and international maisons and numerous companies in the Italian manufacturing industry, reaching job placement rates of up to 100% of the total student population.

In addition to the masters, characterized by a research approach, a fluid and transversal methodology, Specialization Courses are also starting in the upcoming months such as “Fashion Archive: Managing a Strategic Asset” in collaboration with Max Mara, “Product Merchandising“, ” Fashion Marketing & Advertising” which aim to offer rapid and targeted training in specific areas of Fashion.

A special thanks goes to Marco Mastroianni, former student, Responsible Crèation Matiéres, LVMH, who supported the students in the choice of fabrics together with the infinite generosity and great support from the companies of the Italian Fashion System (SMI) who supplied and created fabrics and processes, as well as with the realities that shared planning and experience on the digital side and brand image.

The partner companies of Talents 2023, in addition to the patronages and the jury members, are:

ALESILK, CLERICI TESSUTO, CONCERIA ANACONDA, CRISDEN, FORZA GIOVANE, GENTILI MOSCONI, GRAZIANO RICAMI, ISA SETA, JACOB SCHLAEPFER, LANIFICIO RICCERI, LIMONTA, LINEAPELLE, LISA SPA, MAJOCCHI, MARFUR, MYRIL JEWELS, OSTINELLI SETA, PIACENZA CASHMERE, PROJECT OFFICINA CREATIVA, RICAMANDO SAS DI CHESSA SALVATORE, RUSSO DI CASANDRINO, TACCHIFICIO PIENNE, VIMERCATI HATS, YUME YUME.

Accademia Costume & Moda Chairman, A. Lupo Lanzara:

“Projects like Talents are fundamental to the ACM community. There are now more than 150 Italian and international companies that believe in our values, in our commitment and in the constancy with which we always update and develop the educational offer and the opportunities that we offer to our students. The link built by ACM with the Industry is confirmed as a winning opportunity because it allows students to be placed immediately in the companies and establishes a virtuous circle of exchange, comparison, and growth where everyone benefits. The results speak for themselves, the average of the last 7 academic years has seen an employment rate equal to 93% of the total student population. We are truly grateful to our stakeholders, students, faculty, and the community; nothing is done alone, nothing.”
