Industry Project: Ferragamo
Il progetto Futuristic Rainbow è una collezione di accessori uomo travel disegnata per il brand Ferragamo. L’idea inizialmente prende spunto dall’archivio come riferimento la storica scarpa Rainbow realizzata dal designer.
Ad enfatizzare lo stile della collezione è appunto una versione futuristica dei colori arcobaleno; declinati in una palette più contemporanea. Ferragamo per i suoi progetti ricercava processi di conce della pelle, che gli permettessero di avere nuance più brillanti e vistose già considerate molto all’avanguardia per i suoi tempi. Il Rainbow utilizzato come dettaglio nella linea uomo è composto da fili di Nylon e gross grain tinti in sfumature fluo. Tale inserto verrà utilizzato come parte dell’accessorio che diventa dettaglio applicato sulle borse.
The Futuristic Rainbow project is a collection of men’s travel accessories designed for the Ferragamo brand. The idea initially takes its cue from the archive as a reference the historic Rainbow shoe made by the designer.
To emphasize the style of the collection is precisely a futuristic version of rainbow colors; declined in a more contemporary palette. Ferragamo for his designs researched leather conception processes, which allowed him to have brighter and more eye-catching nuances already considered very avant-garde for his times. The Rainbow used as a detail in the men’s line is composed of Nylon and gross grain threads dyed in fluorescent shades. Such an insert will be used as part of the accessory that becomes an applied detail on the bags.
