La capsule collection racconta di un immaginario incontro tra le Merveilleuse e il gruppo punk rock delle Bikini Kill.
Due movimenti che si propongono come rottura all’interno di un sistema basato su anacronistici canoni estetici, con l’obbiettivo di superarli attraverso una nuova idea di femminilità espressa sia nella forma che nel contenuto. Il corpo e la nudità sono il soggetto di questa nuova forma di protesta e di espressione personale che mira a stupire lo spettatore attraverso tessuti che creano un effetto bagnato e mettono in evidenza le forme del corpo. Lo stile punk, proprio del gruppo musicale da cui si trae ispirazione, è traslato nei colori accesi e nella scelta di utilizzare copricapi “couture” che celano l’individualità della donna.
The capsule collection tells of an imaginary encounter between the Merveilleuse and the punk rock group of the Bikini Kill. Two movements that are proposed as a break within a system based on anachronistic aesthetic canons, with the aim of overcoming them through a new idea of femininity expressed both in form and content. The body and nudity are the subject of this new form of protest and personal expression that aims to amaze the viewer through fabrics that create a wet effect and highlight the body shapes. The punk style, typical of the musical group from which it draws inspiration, is translated in bright colors and in the choice to use "couture"; headdresses that conceal the individuality of the woman.
