Namrata Surana, nata in India, si è laureata in Fashion Design presso School of Fashion Technology, a Pune, nel 2017, classificandosi tra le prime del suo corso. Durante gli anni di studio ha svolto un internship presso ABFRL’s Liva Fluid Fashion e, dopo la laurea, ha lavorato nel settore del costume. La sua esperienza lavorativa in India si è ampiamente concentrata sul tessuto e sul ricamo a mano. Durante CKD Master è stata selezionata per un internship presso Maglificio Marilina, azienda produttrice del suo final work, presentato in esclusiva per Pitti Filati 86.

Namrata Surana, born in Pune, completed her Bachelor in Fashion Design from School of Fashion Technology, Pune, in 2017 and stood as one of the top three rankers of her batch during the final year. She interned at ABFRL’s Liva Fluid Fashion and after her graduation, worked in the sector of customization. Her experience in India was widely based on wovens and hand embroidery. During her experience at CKD Master, she was selected for an internship at Maglificio Marilina, the company that realized her final work showcased at Pitti Filati 86.
